So today I was guided to tell you all a little bit about the 12 Houses of Astrology. Since we now have a knowledge of the many different types of astrology, one thing for sure that is included in all types of astrology are the 12 Houses. The 12 Houses of Astrology deciphers 12 months, 12 zodiacs, and more.  So, let's get down to it!



The 12 Houses of Astrology

    The 12 Houses of Astrology are separately divided sectors in the majority of astrological charts. These different sectors can be relevant to yourself, your home, your career, your family etc. etc. Ruled by the planets of the Universe, the location of the house is determined by the House System. House Systems
move planets from one house to another. Different house systems are used to investigate other astrology branches. Planets and Zodiacs are considered House Rulers. House Rulers are found to be planets that dominate the zodiac in a House Cusp. Literally giving  that planet and zodiac rule over the house it is in. 

    A House Cusp is where the astrological house begins. The position of a house is determined by the House Mode. There are 3 different house modes, Angular, Succedent and Cadent, these quadruplicities or quadrants are included in the houses chart angles, which relate to stages of your life. The first quadrant is about your youth, the 2nd quadrant is about your middle age, the third quadrant is about your older age, and the 4th quadrant relates to life after death, your souls journey.

    Now that we have a general idea of the House System and how it relates to the general astrology chart, let's get into the different houses and their purpose.


    The First House



The first house of the astrological chart, revolves around YOU. Who you are as an individual. Your style, your appearance and your body. In modern astrology the first house is associated with Aries and Mars.


    The Second House



The second house of the astrological chart, revolves around your core values. What you value the most. Your wealth, your assets and your other resources. In modern astrology the second house is associated with Taurus and Venus.



The Third House



The third house of the astrological chart, revolves around your connections. How you connect with your neighbors, siblings, co workers, and friends. As well as your habits and routines. In modern astrology the third house is associated with Gemini and Mercury.


The Fourth House




The fourth house of the astrological chart, revolves around your family. How you connect with your family, linage, ancestors etc. In modern astrology the fourth house is associated with Cancer and The Moon.

The Fifth House




The fifth house of the astrological chart, revolves around your pleasures. Things that brings you joy and makes you feel good. In modern astrology the fifth house is associated with Leo and Jupiter.


The Sixth House




The sixth house of the astrological chart, revolves around your health. How you stay healthy, mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. In modern astrology the sixth house is associated with Virgo and Mercury.


The Seventh House




The seventh house of the astrological chart, revolves around your partnerships. How you stay balanced in your partnerships during romance, work and play. In modern astrology the sixth house is associated with Libra and Mercury.


The Eighth House




The eighth house of the astrological chart, revolves around your taboos. Your adversaries that may cause
death. In modern astrology the sixth house is associated with Scorpio and Pluto.


The Ninth House



The ninth house of the astrological chart, revolves around your purpose. The reason you are here. In modern astrology the sixth house is associated with Sagittarius and Jupiter.


The Tenth House




The tenth house of the astrological chart, revolves around your ambitions and motivation. In modern astrology the sixth house is associated with Capricorn and Saturn.



The Eleventh House




The eleventh house of the astrological chart, revolves around your blessings and benefits. In modern astrology the sixth house is associated with Aquarius and Uranus.



The Twelfth House




The twelfth house of the astrological chart, revolves around your sacrifices and refuge. In modern astrology the sixth house is associated with Pisces and Jupiter and Neptune.
