Astrology and The Many of Them There Are

    Ms. Karmplexity Here. I'm pretty sure you all have heard of astrology, in one way or another. Some of you may have even taken a course or two and learned about the natal chart, the 12 houses and all, but did you know that there were many different types of astrology? OH YEAHHHHHH! Blew my mind too! So, I guess you can pretty much foresee what this session will be about... You got it! We're about to learn more on Astrology and the different types there are. Let's Get Into It!


Astrology

When you think of "Astrology" more than most of the time you envision, the sun, the moon and the stars, right?  Well back some thirty-five thousand years ago, astrology was known as the communication between heaven and earth. Natives practiced divination by combining mathmatics, philosophy, and mythology of different cultures. This inspired these cultures to develop future outcomes and techniques, which we use today. Below are 14 different types of astrology and what their study means.


The Chinese Astrology


        The Chinese Astrology combines lunar astrology, mathmatics, philosophy, and the five element theory. The Chinese astrology system is used in medicine, feng shui and the Chinese Zodiac which symbols are described by animals such as the twelve zodiacs: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and the Pig.


The Electional Astrology




Electional astrology works with specific important milestone dates. Electional astrology is very similar to astrological magic. Astrological magic, uses planetary alignments, in connection to stone, plants and other native objects of earth. Electional astrology presents mantras and rituals to connect heavenly and earthly energies.



Experiental Astrology





        Experiental astrology includes the use of Shamanism, Astrodrama, Guided Visualization, and Hypnosis. These techniques and tools are used to work with astrological symbols and archtypes for healing and self-discovery.  Experiental astrology also uses astrological magic and rituals.



    Hellenistic Astrology







        About twenty-two hundred years ago, those who practiced in the hellenistic ages, used horoscope astrology. This astrology combined Greek, Egyptian and Babylonian cultures, which helped create mapmaking and philosophy to create the first astrological charts. These charts were used to interpreted personal horoscopes.


Horary Astrology





The horary astrology, deciphers the astrological chart movements to answer specific questions. This type of astrology uses tarot cards and other forms of divination to discover clues. I am guilty of using this type of astrology.




Indian Astrology





Indian astrology mixes astronomy and astrology to create Vedic Astrology. Indian Astrology uses religious rituals and other techniques, such as, balancing planetary energies which are similar to astrological magic.




Locational Astrology





When dealing with Locational Astrology, many are looking to discover places and activities to adventure. This type of astrology is fairly new and is made possible through the new wave of digital communication. This helps calculate relationships using charts and earth surfaces.






Medical Astrology






        Medical Astrology answers questions pertaining to illnesses. The use of herbs and natural medicines was used to heal or cure ailments. Medical Astrology is still taught in Universities today. The use of herbs and natural medicines, are similar to traditional Chinese or Ayurvedic Medicine. 



Modern Astrology






Modern Astrology contains the mixture of psychological, evolutionary, experiential, harmonic, and other types of astrology. This type of mix uses the focus of natal astrology, mundane astrology and astrological forecasting. Psychics future telling.




Mundane Astrology





        Mundane Astrology focuses strongly on financial, agricultural, and astrometeorology.  Questions related to politics, business, society and natural events are usually asked when using this type of astrology. Mundane Astrology uses charts corresponding with foundations and leadership.




Natal Astrology






When utilizing Natal Astrology, many request answers of advice and clarity of their current life situations. Natal Astrology charts are used to form an overstanding of your character, spiritual growth and your connection to nature. Natal Astrology is all about YOU.




Relationship Astrology




Relationship Astrology combines two or more charts of individuals to see their traits and compatibility. Mostly used by couples to define their true Soul Mate. Some of the tools and technique used in Relationship Astrology are synastry and composite charts.




Traditional Astrology






Before science broke the mold, traditional astrology used Western practices used to create symbols that influence many of our art cultures here on earth. Traditional astrology focuses on medical, electional, horary, mundane astrology, as well as astrological forecasting and magic.




Western Astrology





Western astrology focuses on your zodiac Sun Sign.  The Zodiac Sun Sign is the zodiac sign in your chart that lies in the sun's location. This is the first zodiac that reflects on your strengths, positives, vitality and personal leadership. Western astrology uses traditional and modern astrology to clarify your horoscope.
